I would like to suggest we consider an alternative to building four lane
highways.  The current system is dangerous because the road was never
designed to hold the type and volume of current traffic.  If we remove most
of the people from the road, leaving it for mainly short trips and truck
use, we would certainly reduce the death rate.  I propose that we build a
light rail system along side the current highway.
