   I understood the sense of your original statement,
actually, and it is fine. Just so everybody 
understands me, I am being a bit of a silly (hopefully
amusing) curmudgeon in recent posts. Nihil obstat.

  But seriously, only a sub section of 'semitic'
looking Jewish people are dark skinned. My wife is
not. Nor is my red-hair and freckled Jewish horn
playing buddy in California, to name only a couple
of the many non semitic-looking Jewish people I
know. Again, this is not to attack your point, just
an observation from my POV.
