Greetings Visionaires -

In certain circumstances society has taken a reverse sexist approach.  To
illustrate my point, consider the following scenarios.

Scenario 1:  A woman is inside her apartment changing her clothes.  Her
window has been left open (purely by accident).  Outside, a man walks by and
his attention is quickly (and for an extremely short period of time) drawn
to the woman.

Result:  The man is arrested for being a "Peeping Tom".


Scenario 2:  A man is inside his apartment changing his clothes.  His window
has been left open (purely by accident).  Outside, a woman walks by and her
attention is quickly (and for an extremely short period of time) drawn to
the man.

Result:  The man is arrested for being a indecent exposure.


Just a note to let you know that this proverbial door swings both ways.

Visionaries,

A woman is equal (which doesn't mean the exact same) to a man.  She has
the right do exactly what a man has the right to do.  Because some people
are offended by that sight of breasts because of certain conotations our
society has attached to the breast, specifically sexual conotations, does
not negate that right.  The objectification women as sexual objects is a
kind of slavery in which they are shackled by blatant double standards.

If we all had the same respect Garrett Clevenger seems to have for women,
we could end a lot of the problems of the world.  Our hypermasculine
culture has polluted our minds, our earth, and our relationships.  A
feminization of the world is its way to its salvation.  No wonder some of
our greatest spiritual leaders had strong and powerful women as friends,
wifes, mothers.  One example, since this seems to be something a lot of
people can relate too, is Christianity.  A woman was choosen to bring the
Messiah into the world, because of her unique capabilities.  A woman was
also the first to deliver the news of the resurrection.  If there ever was
biblical reason for feminism, that would be it.

Women aren't the only one affected, but men as well.  They have become
weak.  When presented with a woman of character, of strength, they often
have no alternative but to strike at her.  Even behavior between males is
affected.  Violence and homophobia of the direct results of this sexism
and hyper-adhesion to the traditional gender roles.  Being a girl is often
used as an insult between young boys.  And you hardly see the converse in
girls.

I implore the City Council, the Visionaries and the rest of the humanity
to seriously look at how sexism and hypermasculinity is poisoning us.
