Double that for me and of course for all community development 
enthusiasts! What a wonderful gesture, indeed, by these two spirited 
citizens!  I first met Maynard and Margaret when I purchased potatoes at 
their little ranch, proceeds of which benefit the Rotary Club. He and I 
recalled  our high school football rivalry back in the thirties, when my 
home team from Martinez, CA, went to play Turlock High in  his home town, 
some 35 miles away. Quite a coincidence! It's through devotion like 
theirs that future generations can enjoy a more wholesome environment and 
quality of urban life -- an example indeed for all who truly care for the 
general well being. Hopefully the Palouse Land Trust will find a way to 
memorialize the Fosbergs' gesture in some fitting way.  Thansk to Bill
