Re: school gun control legislation

     As I recall there were several problems with the original legislation.
I would hope that this time, at least, the proposed legislation would get a
much wider exposure and a chance for commentary well before any votes are
cast.  I would certainly appreciate a chance to read the proposed
legislation as soon as possible.
     On a more important note, I fail to understand why this legislation is
needed.  There is no real reason I can fathom.  Last year the legislation
passed with the flimsiest rationale attached.  I would hope that the state
legislature would require a competent rationale accompany this legislation.
