Whether you agree with pledging or not it's true that pledges carry more
weight. When Fresh Aire was dropped a few years back it was listener
contributions (and bitching) that encouraged management to bring it back.
Now Fresh Aire again graces our airwaves.
Call and pledge and let NWPR know which shows are important to you. Even if
it is only $5 your dollars added with others has an impact.
Greg. as far as NWPR being a privileged "upper" class thing, whatever, I
willing pay to not have to listen to the same song 4 times in an 8 hour
shift, and to not have to listen to advertising hype. If that makes me
privileged then so be it.
