COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS
Week of June 28, 1999

Commissioners Samuel G. Duncan, Loreca J. Stauber and Paul Kimmell met in
regular session; The following actions were taken:

Budget Presentation for Parks and Recreation Department held on June 28,
1999. Presented by Andrew Grant. No action taken at this time.

Motion and Order to open as a Board of Equalization until July 12, 1999.

Sitting as a Board of Equalization revoked the tax exemption on parcel
number LR39N05W167500A pursuant to Idaho Code 63-501 for the greenhouses on
the property owned by the Upper Columbia Mission Society. Commissioners
Stauber and Duncan voted yes, Commissioner Kimmell voted no.

Sitting as a	 Board of Equalization granted a tax exemption on parcel number
RPG13000090070A pursuant to Idaho Code 63-602D for Gritman Medical Center.

Sitting as a Board of Equalization denied the tax exemption on the property
described as Baker Addition, Block 1, Lot 4 less Tax #4574 pursuant to Idaho
Code 63-105B; property is owned by Faith Ministries, Inc. Commissioners
Stauber and Duncan voted yes, Commissioner Kimmell voted no.

Sitting as a Board of Equalization denied the tax exemption on parcels
MH41N04W103300 and RP41N04W103310 pursuant to Idaho Code 63-105B for the
property owned by the Princeton Church of the Nazarene. Commissioners
Stauber and Duncan voted yes, Commissioner Kimmell voted no.

Approved, signed and filed the Clerk/Auditor/Recorder’s Fee Report for May
1999.

Approved, signed and filed request to hire Christine U. Youmans as Deputy
Court Clerk I, Clerk of the District Court. Department 01A, Line 09.
Authorized Grade A06. Effective June 21, 1999.

Approved, signed and filed request for a three-year salary increment
increase for Lynda S. Johnson, Prosecuting Attorney. Department 07, Line 07.
Authorized Grade A07. Effective June 1, 1999.

Motion and Order to reappoint Doug Moser and Bill Newbry to the Board of the
North Idaho Foundation Seed Association, effective June 28, 1999,

Approved, signed and filed Resolution #99-11. A resolution creating Indigent
Fund budget line 16-00-510-01, and transferring funds from Indigent Line
16-00-404-00 to Line 16-00-510-01, $1,500.00.

Approved, signed and filed a request for tuition aid to North Idaho College
by Justin Lee Houska.

indigent cases, pursuant to Idaho Code Section 67-2345 (1) (d). Adjourned at
10:05 a.m. Six (6) cases were approved, and one (1) case was denied.

Convened in Executive Session at 11:07 p.m. on June 30, 1999, to discuss
personnel matters pursuant to Idaho Code Section 67-2345 (1) (a)&(b).
Adjourned at 11:21 a.m.

Sitting as a Board of Equalization denied the request for revaluation on
parcel number RP01680000017AA pursuant to Idaho Code 63-501 for the property
owned by Teoman Sipahigil.

Sitting as a Board of Equalization denied the request for revaluation on

Motion and order to designate the Latah County Sheriff’s Office as the
Master Street Address Guide (MSAG) Coordinator for the Latah County
Emergency 911 System.
