Onward Recycling Soldiers

As I was on my way to the golf course and listening to Rush Limbaugh
while smoking a cigarette (okay -- I don't smoke -- yet), the news
came on. There was a report about Schoolchildren and Earth Day in NYC
-- a group of kids were spending the day on a field trip to some sort
of composting facility. The reporter gushed, "And listen to what they
were singing!"

Next one heard small voices singing the words "We're saving waste,
we're saving waste," to the tune of "Amazing Grace."

Once I recovered, I realized that nobody has to give me a hard time
about my anti-recycling views anymore, because you've won the battle!
Recycling is the national religion, at least in the hearts and minds
of the youngest generation! I'll even write you a new hymnal (on
recycled paper, of course.) How about, "All Things Reduced and
Reusable," or "The Old, Rugged Old-Growth Tree"?

I'll work on it.
