Re: Unidentified subject! --defining our terms

Greetings Visionaires -

Another definition for homophobia can be located at:

http://www.bartleby.com/cgi-bin/texis/webinator/ahdsearch?
search_type=enty&query=homophobia&db=ahd&Submit=Search

For those of you who may not be able to activate the link, it says:

"...Fear of or contempt for lesbians and gay men. 2. Behavior based on such a
feeling. homo(sexual) + -phobia.homo·phobe -NOUNhomo·phobic -ADJECTIVE..."

That kinda simplifies things doesn't it?

This definition is from the American Heritage Dictionary of the English
Language (4th Edition)

Take care,

Tom Hansen
