Why is it that people who are offended when labels are applied to them have
no trouble applying them to others? No, I am not a "right-wing Reaganite."
I do support equal rights. What I do not support is a simplistic and
oppressive definition of equality which finds its expression in the concept
that if men get to take their shirts of on Main Street, then women do, too.
That's nonsense. And modern sexual harassment law reflects this. I don't
want to be on either side of the aisle if the whole courtroom is full of
nitwits.
And "scary?" Apparently expressions of lawyerphobia are what pass for debate
these days. "A different idea? Quick! Whack it!"
