Re: Topless issue in Moscow, few words more

I swore I wouldn't post another thing about the topless issue, but...

1) I want to know why the women on the topfree site who are so proud of
their bodies and so proud to be politically free and so proud to be
ramming their idea of equality into the face of every other citizen ...
are blocking out their faces? If it's not porn then who cares? Do they
just want to be known as 'breasts'? I don't get it.

2) Also, I'd be interested to see what the voter registration in
Moscow/Latah County is by age of citizen. Just from previous trips to the
polls (you know, where you VOTE--for those who are having to now REGISTER
so they can voice their opinion on this hugely important issue while
ignoring all previous elections and issues... but I digress) I have
observed it's very heavily populated with senior citizens (whether as
voter volunteers or just voters. I was kind of worried about the last
school vote because I saw so many senior citizens and wrongly assumed they
would be voting against the bond because they didn't want to pay higher
taxes. Anyway, I will now assume that most of the senior citizens would
likely vote AGAINST allowing topless women. Of course, that is perhaps a
flawed assumption. So I guess the organizers need to get out there and
recruit a whole new voting population and get them registered. And then
once this issue is resolved (oh, please, I can't wait!) then those people
can ignore voting in any elections and any other issue that comes up, as
they have so wisely done in the past.
