Dear visionaries,

"Here we go to all the trouble to elimate the Taliban in one part of

I too remember the dark days of tyranny -- right here in Moscow, back in
1996 -- back before an all-wise judge decided that women didn't have to
keep their clothes on. "Mom?" teenage girls would quaver.
"Can I go downtown? I do have enough clothes on. They won't
put me in a concentration camp, will they?" Mothers would try to
comfort their daughters, but to no avail. I tell you, those Taliban days
in the mid-nineties were really tough. Who was on the city council back
then? Linda Pall?
