If I understand correctly, the assertion is that those who send their kids
to public schools accept a core of beliefs, which seems to be called
Modernity, that then is their religion, adding as "condiments" such things
as Islam, Catholicism, etc. Why not the other way around? Why can't someone
have Islam as their core beliefs, and add as "condiments" public schooling?
