Public Meeting about the fate of the North Fork Clearwater, including the
Pot Mountain Roadless Area Thursday January 17th at 7:00pm
1912 Community Center Moscow, ID (Corner of 3rd & Adams)
Background: Public comment is needed prior to January 28 on a draft
environmental impact statement (DEIS) concerning alternative approaches to
the Middle Black Project. This project could significantly affect roadless
areas of the North Fork Clearwater River in central Idaho. Doug Gober,
North Fork District Ranger, will provide an overview of the proposal, and
answer questions.
Sponsored by the Palouse Group of the Sierra Club, the Friends of the
Clearwater, and the Idaho Conservation League.
