RE: testable hypothesis



Here's one from a biology class at NYU:

Exercises

What is a "testable" hypothesis with regard to historical events?  What kind
of "evidence" is required to test such hypotheses (short of time travel)?
(Hint:  how are murder cases solved in the absence of eyewitnesses?)
