That all living or extinct organisms would have primitive and derived
morphological characteristics, which would arrange the organisms in a
branching hierarchy;

That molecular genetic relationships between organisms would be mostly in
concordance with the hierarchy;

...

good grief, the list of hypotheses vulerable to empirical challenge put
forth by evolution is practically endless.  I suggest those interested in
such questions enroll in virtually any biology class at UI.
