It's really amazing how he(Bush sr. ) managed to control the supreme
court. If only he could have pulled that off when he was in office.
Okay, reality check.
I'd say that it would be even harder if your brother was governor. That's
just one more thing for the democrats to whine about and throw fits
over. That's just one more reason for everyone to double check
everything.
I think Gore made himself look like an idiot by dragging out a simple
confirmation process. Once they validated that he lost, he should have
stopped playing on people's ignorance about republic vs. democracy,
etc. Grow up.
