Duncan,

You are in luck!  I can quote you a price to come to your home and do your 
recycling for you!  You wouldn't even have to take it to the curb!

I view sorting as a personal responsibility that I owe the world for the 
trash I create.  I might suggest that it's not the sorting that bothers you 
(as products must be sorted when you drop them off at the recycling center 
any way), but it's the two week schedule, where they only take designated 
items every second week.  Yes, sorting takes time and effort on the part of 
consumers, but sorting facilities are very expensive.  So the price you pay 
for our program is in time, not cash.

Oh, the miseries of living in the twenty-first century....
