Announcement "Protect Your Kids-Inside and Out"

"Protect Your Kids-Inside and Out" is the theme of an information
 health and safety event sponsored by the Children's Health and Safety
 Coalition of Latah County. The Coalition, made up of members of the North
 Central District Health Department, Gritman Medical Center's Young Children
 and Families Project, Moscow Rotary Club and the Palouse Sunrisers Kiwanis
 Club will coordinate and staff the event which will be held at the
 Eastside Market Place in Moscow on April 8 from 9A.M. to 2P.M.

A variety of free fun and informational hand outs for adults and children
will be
 available including growth charts, coloring books, pens and stickers.
Coupons for selected free immunizations for children birth to seven will be
given away. Coupons will be redeemable at the North Central District Health
Department at any regular scheduled immunization clinic.  This is a great
opportunity to get immunizations for those children who need them for
entering school next fall.
There will also be a free drawing for a limited number of children's bicycle
helmets.

Please share this information with any families with young children that you
might know.  This will be a fun way to learn about keeping our youngest
community members safe and healthy!
