Local agriculture is focused on export. As I understand it, local farmers
grow soft wheat for Asian noodles and lentils for Mid-Eastern appetites.
However, the Moscow Food Co-op sells locally grown organic lentils.
The Co-op also sells various prepared foods made by Paradise Farm
Organics--a Moscow company that owns a mill, buys local organic grains,
grinds its own flours, and sells internationally.
The Co-op is on Third Street at Jefferson, 882-8537.
