Re: Schools



Wayne,

I don't disagree with anything you have written.  Of
course this brings the discussion around full circle. 
I don't believe that prayers alone are enough to
prevent future shooting rampages on school grounds.
Legislators, law enforcement officials, school
administrators, teachers, parents, and students all
need to figure out ways within their control to defuse
potential future tragedies.  The zero tolerance 
policies that many schools have instituted regarding
possession of weapons and making threats is a good
start...even despite a few isolated instances where
this policy has been poorly applied.
