It is always good to hear from friends, especially when they are willing
to testify that I shouldn't be beat up in a wheat field.
Having survived a day of hearings on fish and dams in Clarkston, I have
returned home to go on line to report that I am too old to fight in wheat
fields. At this stage in my life, I have trouble fighting fish.
I honor Wolfgang Schwartzenweintraub's right to hold and reveal his own
opinions on just about anything -- unless he is part of some undergraduate
psychology experiment to see what you can get away with on a community
list server.
It is my opinion that something like that must be the case. Is there a
prize for figuring this out?
