Re: New well questions

I have not been following the issue of a new well other than on this list,
but I do not recall hearing of any "water shortage" recently, nor do I
recall hearing anyone speak of the need for new wells until just now.  I do
recall hearing much discussion over our pumping water from the Grande Rhonde
aquifer at a faster rate than the natural recharge leading to an eventual
"no water" situation.  Is this still the case?  Was this part of the city's
deliberations before purchasing the lot?
