Re: Treaty Grounds; wages in Moscow

I want to come to the defense of workers in Moscow.

Here at PCEI we work with hundreds of volunteers every year.  Many are
people who work in low to moderate wage jobs in Moscow.  These people have
been wonderful to work with.  For the most part they have shown an
outstanding work ethic and sense of responsibility.  They show up on time
and frequently want to stay longer than the time scheduled.  Nearly always,
the work we do is hard, physical, and dirty.  The only is reward cookies
and water or an occasional piece of pizza.  We also openly recognize their
importance to our success and treat them with respect.
