Idaho Rural Council

Hi folks,

 

Today I got a fundraising letter from the Idaho Rural Council.  They appear to be an organization I might want to support, but I'd like to know if others of you have been working with them.  The letter concentrated on information regarding agribusiness--particularly feed lot operations in Southeastern Idaho and the contaminants those businesses are flushing into Idaho streams and rivers.  I read of the one dairy operation that was fined but have not been really up to date on this issue.   If their information is valid, this should be a serious state-wide concern and a legislative issue.  What can you tell me?
