WTO march Saturday

Moscow's first anti-WTO rally & teach-in concluded successfully Friday 
evening.  About 80 people showed for the recently announced event.  Several 
local speakers addressed the crowd about their experiences in Seattle, and 
what the WTO means to people in Moscow and around the world.

As follow-up event, citizens will march on Saturday at noon from Friendship 
Square to Wal-Mart, a multinational corporation which is known for selling 
goods produced in Third World sweat shops.  Wal-Mart would certainly 
benefit from a WTO-mandated elimination of U.S. tariffs on textiles and 
other imports.
