Which sort of says, between the lines, that a corporation can manipulate
its services/products in ways that can do harm or impose penalties, and
the buyer must do the research for self-protection. Are these the ethics
that now govern so much of our economic system? What legal advocacy
resources does the typical citizen, as in Idaho, have? Almost zero, so
far as I know. The power relationships are way off balance, don't you
think? Is this government's role, to protect the innocent? Thanks for
the warning, as I subscribe to AT&T. But when I was with MCI, I
encountered similar problems. Ho-hum! Ken M.
