Its the pits, to the point of being funny.
Any ism practiced in a selfish way and that does not provide for the common
benefit of
society or the earth invokes conflict..
Free trade and investment with the goal of providing innovation
,service with accountability for the benefit of society is one thing but
Corporate dominance
operating only on a bottom line principal to the point of squeezing a market
for all its
worth will control the people and the environment they live in. (tobacco)
Capitalism can not by itself be good without good intentions.
One example that comes to mind is the Boxer Revolution.
Another can be found in a book called The Arms of Krupp .A German steel
manufacturer whose escapades touch our lives every day.
Not all Capitalists are bad but there is a reason that this is so funny.
Finally what is the big deal with Bill Gates? Could be just the dominant
attitude.
