Thanks much for the reference. His rationale is sound and agrees with my
sense that the socio-political and military contexts which lead to the
2nd amendment ceased to exist 150 years ago, following the Civil War
{"War between theStates"). Today our contexts are so radically different
that lethal arms uses must be constrained in order to provide for
"domestic tranquility" and the "general welfare." Amen I outlined my
ideas on this previously and I don't expect that consensus can be had at
this stage of the mis-informed state of public opinion.
