While Ry was hyper-critically calling you hypocritcal, he was not questioning
your use of the word "white." And, of course, we could argue about the
absolutism of categorizing anyone by skin color or ethnic background, but it
is rather commonly done. While you may not have any statistics, I'd bet the
local prosecutors or public defenders would have a pretty good idea about the
background of those charged with illegal drug use--just as law enforcement
folks do, although of course, there might be a question whether those charged
are in relative proportion to those who use (adults--on the average--have more
secure residences than college students in dorm rooms just as one example.)
And as long as Ry likes to hang on the exact meaning of every word, I'm
pondering the "meat as drug" implications of the posting.
