The rumour here at Whitman County Public Works is that there will be NO 
Bedrock II.  Various reasons include:
1.  They didn't sell enough cars to make a difference.
2.  They didn't have every permit required (shocking!), and really pissed 
off some folks here.
3.  The new corridor zoning requires a traffic study, and that increases the 
cost of such an event.

Priscilla, I didn't catch the editorial re: bedrock, but from your response 
I assume the Daily Snooze thinks car lots are a positive addition to our 
economic future.  Please realize, that with the restrictions in the new 
Corridor zoning, a car lot is probably the easiest activity to locate.  But, 
if the Chipman-Taylor simply moves from Pullman to the county, what did the 
local economy gain?
