Dear Greg, 

I read Ry's first and gave more information about the election then. The one
thing I forgot to mention was that there are THREE seats in each election
cycle (the Mayor was elected to a four year term in 1997) and the top three
vote getters are elected from however many run.

Please talk to me and other council members to get a fix on whether this
would be something you might be interested. I'm gung-ho about this and
others might have another viewpoint. In reality, this is one of the best
public service jobs I knwow. I recommend it!
