Presents
A Summit On
"THE ROLE OF UNIVERSITIES IN
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT"

When:	7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 22

Where:	Pullman City Hall in the City Council Chambers

Speakers:	University of Idaho President Robert A. Hoover
WSU President Samuel H. Smith
Moderator:	Pullman Chamber of Commerce Vice President, Glenn Johnson.
Glenn is an Associate Professor of Communication at WSU.
Introduction:	Gary Riedner, Chair of the Palouse Economic Forum, will 
provide the overview and introductions.  Gary is City Supervisor for the 
City of Moscow.
The public is welcomed and encouraged to attend this important summit.
The summit will also be shown live on cable Channel 13 in Pullman.
The mission of the Palouse Economic Forum is to promote the economic 
vitality of the Palouse.  The Palouse Economic Forum membership consists of 
organizations on the Palouse whose sole mission is economic development as 
well as organizations which are engaged in economic development efforts as 
part of their larger overall mission.
