Lou, you make a good point not to be overlooked.  Several years ago--well
maybe two, I wanted the book, Caballero, written by a Texas author and
situated in the Texas Valley during the years 1836 - 1945.  I tried the
bookstores in Harlingen and Brownsville.  The didn't have it in stock even
though it was recent and covered local events.  When I got back home, Bob
ordered it and had it in a few days.  And by the way, it is a wonderful book
for those of you who are interested in the Texas-Mexico relations during the
period when the land from the Nueces and the Rio Grande was claimed by both
Texas and Mexico while Texas was a republic.
