Dear Visionaries,
SOme of what we think are central community leaders will indeed be at the
MLK Jr. Human Rights Breakfast rather than the parade or will try to manage
both...Frankly, it's great the UI team won a game but I wish the celebration
could have been a little later in the day or earlier in the month.
I really enjoy each year's celebration of human rights and the reminder that
we need to continue to work on these issues so that the "BIG GAME" can be
won for all of us who want a tolerant, loving and caring community. I also
get a huge kick out of being able to take photographs of all the wonderful
faces who attend the breakfast.
Many thanks to all who are instrumental in doing such a great job,
especially Joan Muneta, Nicole Rose, Mary Jo Hamilton and the countless
other volunteers, especially the high school International CLub, who help
out. I wouldn't miss this for the world.
All the best,
Linda Pall
central community leader wannabe
