optional forms of county government

The League of Women Voters' local candidate forum Wednesday evening,
October 28, 7:30 p.m. at the Community Center, will begin with a
discussion of the optional forms of county government ballot
proposal.  Ken Gallant  will present some of the arguments for and
Steve Cooke some of the arguments against the proposal.  

Local candidates for the state legislature and for county offices 
will then each make brief opening statements.

Questions will then  be taken from the audience, including questions
about the optional forms of county government proposal.

The forum runs from 7:30 to 9:30.  Hope to see you there!
