Maybe the problem between humans and nature really is "Men"? What do you

I know this is old hat, and that one can argue pro and con, but I've become
so accustomed to saying "humans" or "humankind" (yes, "man" is inside each
word) in my teaching, that I really am jolted when I see "man" in print. It
still leads me to believe that the writer may not acknowledge the meaningful
presence of both genders.
I guess I am too shell shocked from too many years of trying to accomplish
the objectives of what some have now thrown out: AA/EO.
Can any of you suggest a remedy for this mental hangup?
