Cable rate mumps again

I just opened my latest cable bill and see it has risen again. I get the
minimum service (channels 2-13). According to my past checks, the monthly
charge last Jan. was $7.69. In May it jumped to $9.35. In July it rose to
$9.85. Now it has jumped to $10.14.

I don't keep the bills, so don't know whether government fees are
responsible, or if Century Communications is. If the latter, it's a smart
way to do it, in little nibbles to minimize public objection.

Anyone out there have more information on this?. I may have missed public
announcments or discussions on the topic.
