The cable industry in general has consumers right where it wants them, at
it's mercy. And Century Communications is a classic example. Not only do
they randomly add channels without consulting their customers, they in fact
do sneak up their rates as John has observed.

And perhaps most annoying of all they have NO LOCAL PHONE NUMBER to call
with concerns or problems about service and rate increases. If you want to
communicate with the company you are forced to speak with their office in
COLORADO SPRINGS!

Where's the decent Public Access channel and facility we all deserve? Why
after all these years, aren't city council meetings, school board meetings
and so forth carried on that access channel? And when is the franchise up
for renewal?

It's time to do something about a very funky cable situation.
