USDA announced that the University of Idaho and 10 other universities will
be the receipients of$1 million for the FY 97 Agricultural
Telecommunications
Grants program. The grants will help universities apply telecommunications
to improve food safety, protect the environment, train students for careers
in agriculture and expand markets for farmers.
