town meeting

We (the Moscow Vision 2020 steering committee) is planning a town forum on
the subject of sharing our sidewalks and streets safely.
The idea was sparked by the disgusting incident involving Matt
Kitterman and Fritz Knorr--but our goal is not to either rehash what is
now a legal and police personnel issue.
We want to bring a panel of street users (bikes, pedestrians, etc)
and city officials (chief of police, etc) together in an open public forum
for questions and concerns. What are the rules, and are the rules being
upheld? IF we experience an infraction of the rules, what recourse do we
have?
The meeting is scheduled for May 27, just a week from Tuesday.
We need your help in bringing this together.
Can you design a flyer?
Can you get this info to the students at Moscow High School?
Can you post flyers?
Can you get our news release to local media?
Can you help set up the chairs at the event?
Please let me know if you can be of assistance in making this
happen. Call Bill London at 882-0127.
Thanks BL
