Hello 2020 Visionaries,

Each spring, the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute receives
numerable telephone calls from citizens who are concerned about aerial
pesticide applications and their potential to negatively impact the
environment and human health or who have just been "sprayed" and want to
know what to do.

To address these concerns and to create a general understanding of what
pesticides (and fertilizers) are applied, when, and why, the
Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute is sponsoring a "Just Desserts"
forum on the aerial application of pesticides Thursday, April 3rd at the
Moscow Community Center. All interested citizens are welcome!!

The forum discussion panel will feature Craig Fountain, a regional aerial
applicator, Kyle Hawley, a Moscow farmer, a representative from the
Washington State Department of Agriculture's Pesticide Division and a
concerned Palouse resident. Gourmet desserts, coffee and tea are included
in the three dollar admission fee to this round-table discussion.
