some years ago i had a friend working at kwsu, when they made the conversion
to krfa. the skinny at that point was for newscasters to "imagine they were
announcing from high atop rattlesnake ridge" (a ridge inside the hanford
reservarion, ie, in the geographic center of their listening area). prior
to that time we had lots of local coverage: bert harrison's "view from the
northwest corner", a radio version of the want ads, and lots of local news.
now it seems we have network newsfeeds and musical wallpaper.

one of the things krfa announces regularly is their email address. does
anyone know it so the flames can be appropriately directed before they have
a chance to cool?
