Commissioners Paul J. Kimmell, Loreca J. Stauber, and John A. (Jack) Nelson
met in regular session on Monday, May 21, 2001, and on Wednesday, May 23,
2001; the following actions were taken:
Approved, signed and filed a second dwelling renewal request for Angie
Stephenson located at 1009 Forks Road, Deary, Idaho for one (1) year ending
on June 14, 2002.
Approved, signed and filed a second dwelling renewal request for Rich
Spencer located at 4120 Highway 8, Troy, Idaho for one (1) year ending on
June 25, 2002.
Approved, signed and filed the Vacation Declaration on Alonzo Vacation #613.
Approved, signed and filed a request for a 2-year increment increase for
Crystal Jones, Housekeeper, Buildings & Grounds, Department 05F, Line 03,
effective May 1, 2001.
Approved, signed and filed a request to change full-time status to ¾ time
status for Robin Eckmann, Deputy Prosecutor III, Prosecuting Attorney,
Department 07, Line 02, effective May 1, 2001.
Approved, signed and filed a request to hire Susan R. Egan as
Payroll-Accounts Payable/Deputy Clerk, Auditor/Recorder, Department 01B,
Line 04, effective May 22, 2001.
Approved, signed and filed a request for Tax Cancellation in behalf of Latah
County, RPM00000177570A, on parcel purchased by County.
Filed a Fee Report for the period of April 1, 2001 through April 30, 2001,
by the Clerk/Auditor/Recorder.
Approved, signed and filed a request for a 2-year increment increase for
Andrew Grant, Parks Manager, Parks & Recreation, Department 05G, Line 01,
effective May 1, 2001.
Approved, signed and filed a request for Tuition Aid to North Idaho College
by Cameron Peterson.
By Motion and Order authorized the chair’s signature on an agreement between
Latah County and the Regents of the University of Idaho acting through the
University of Idaho Center on Disabilities and Human Development for
juvenile mental health services for an amount not to exceed $32,000.00.
Term of agreement is from October 1, 2000 through September 30, 2001.
Approved, signed and filed a request to move the radio repeaters on McGary
Butte to Elk Butte, at a cost of $8,000.
Filed the Eligibility Determination Unemployment Insurance Claim for Debra
Carswell, claim approved.
Filed resignation of Timothy Drumm, Part-time Irregular Maintenance Worker,
Parks & Recreation, Department 05G, Line 04, effective May 18, 2001.
Approved, signed and filed a request to hire Mathew Rippee, Part-time
Irregular Maintenance Worker, Parks & Recreation, Department 05G, Line 04,
effective May 21, 2001.
Filed resignation of Joe C. Martel, Part Time Irregular Tracker, Youth
Services Juvenile Corrections Block Grant, Department 08B, Line 05,
effective May 11, 2001.
Approved, signed and filed a request to hire William C. Barber, Part-time
Irregular Tracker, Youth Services Juvenile Corrections Block Grant,
Department 08B, Line 05, effective May 15, 2001.
Approved, signed and filed a request to declare one chair to be surplus
property by District Court.
Approved, signed and filed the Commissioners’ Proceedings for the week of
May 14, 2001.

21,2001, to discuss Personnel Matters; Indigent, Pursuant to Idaho Code
Section 67-2345 (1)(a) & (b). Adjourned at 2:11 P.M.
By Motion and Order, convened in Executive Session at 11:03 A.M. on May 23,
2001, to discuss Records Exempt from Public Inspection; pursuant to Idaho
Code Section 67-2345 (1)(d). Adjourned at 11:17 A.M. Three cases approved,
none denied.
Approved, signed and filed a request for a 3-year increment increase for
Jesse Flowers, System Administrator, Information Services, Department 05E,
Line 04, effective May 1, 2001.
Approved, signed and filed Resolution No. 2001-14 Transferring funds from
the Current Expense-Elections (Fund 01-15) “B” Budget to the Current
Expense-Elections (Fund 01-15) “A” Budget and “D” Budget.
