a new hotel?

The Lewiston Tribune today (Friday 2/2) includes a good introductory
article (thankfully, complete with a map, so we can finally see where
everything fits together) about the consideration of a new
hotel/convention center at the "blighted zone" on Highway 95 at the new
UI entrance...
    The famous Urban Renewal Agency may become the vehicle for sharing
tax money with a hotel developer there.
    The article is a good one (thanks to reporter Heather Frye), because
the question of whether this would be corporate welfare or good
community planning is framed well....
    As if we didn't have enough community issues to debate and
discuss....now we have another...
