KWSU Panel Discussion - Salmon Recovery Issues

On Wednesday, April 14, 8-9pm, salmon recovery issues and the lower four
Snake River dams will be the topic of a live panel discussion held in
Studio B of KWSU-TV/10. This forum will be broadcast live on KWSU-TV, 
channel 10, Pullman, and KTNW-TV, channel 10/31, Tri-Cities. Experts will
discuss the issues of preserving Northwest salmon and the operation of
federal dams; including the topic of breaching. Breaching, by definition is:
“…removing large earthen sections next to the concrete spillways and
powerhouses, allowing the river to flow in a nearly natural state. The
electricity-generating portions of the dams would cease to operate.” 
Panel members represent a variety of views on the subject. The public is
invited to attend and will have the opportunity to ask questions. 

KWSU-TV/10 studio is located in the Murrow Communications Building, first
floor. For those unable to attend, there will be an opportunity to ask
questions of the panel via e-mail. The following people will be on the
