I have heard rumors about school teachers, ministers and public officials
in this town and I wouldn't repeat them to my closest friends, much less
repeat them on a public forum. I never doubt that there may be truth in
what I hear but unless I know for a fact it just goes in one ear and out
the other with the assumption that someone has an ax to grind. This is
precisely what I did in this case with the police officers.
