I noticed that work is proceeding on the Sixth Street addition along
Paradise Creek. I saw today some barriers to erosion placed between the
work area and the creek. Having had some small experience with erosion
caused by construction work, I hope that somebody other than the city is
monitoring the situation. If we have the predicted warm dry winter, then
things may not be to bad. If, however, we have a warm wet winter, most of
the disturbed dirt will end up in the creek. Why start a project like this
now?
