Hot Tomatoes?

Visionaries,
   Lessee--how to make this all high minded and
relevant?
   Well, my vision for Moscow includes healthy high
yield tomato plants in every yard! Unfortunately I'm
not too impressed with the ones I planted this year.
I'd like to correct that next spring.  
   What are the absolute best tomato varieties for
this late spring-ed area? (Any other local tomato
growing tips welcome as well.)
