Book Signings and Fire Prevention Symposium

Hello from BookPeople of Moscow.


George Bedirian will be signing copies of his reissued Palouse Country...at
BookPeople, tomorrow, the 19th October from 11AM-1PM.

John Maclean will be at BookPeople on Sunday, the 20th, to sign copies of
Fire on the Mountain.

Monday night, the 21st, BookPeople is hosting a Fire Prevention Symposium,
at the 1912 Building from 7:30-9:30 PM.  Don Strong will be there from the
Moscow Fire Department, Roger Kechter from the Bureau of Lands (discussing
wildlands fire prevention), and Cliff Todd, local fire prevention
consultant.  This will be useful to all concerned about protecting their
homes from fire, whether in town or on the mountain..  Please bring
questions and concerns to discuss with these three experts.

Twenty percent of sales of Maclean's book will be donated to the Moscow Fire
Department and donations will be accepted Monday night also on behalf of the
Fire Department.
